about the project

Enhancing the Resilience and Empowerment of Women and Young Women in the Face of Poverty and Multidimensional Crises

The project aims to enhance the economic empowerment and resilience of vulnerable women and youth in Jordan by improving their access to sustainable livelihood opportunities and promoting a safe and inclusive environment. Implemented by The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development in partnership with Fundación Promoción Social and funded by Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, the project integrates economic empowerment with protection and social inclusion approaches.

It focuses on building participants’ capacities through skills development, entrepreneurship support, and access to decent work, while also providing psychosocial support, financial literacy, and awareness on rights and protection.

The project contributes to reducing poverty and vulnerability by strengthening women’s participation in the labor market, enhancing their resilience to socio-economic challenges, and promoting inclusive and sustainable community development.
